Sarah Byrd, NP

Sarah is originally from Berkeley Springs and currently resides in Martinsburg with her two wonderful children, a beloved pet, and her supportive husband. She graduated from Shenandoah University’s nursing program in 2010, starting her career in the wound center before advancing her expertise as a registered nurse in the emergency room, PACU, and same-day surgery environments. In 2016, Sarah earned her Master of Science in Nursing with honors from Penn State University. Since becoming a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in urgent care and found her passion in dermatology. At Dermatology Center of Winchester, Sarah enjoys treating patients of all ages with both acute and chronic skin conditions. Her approach prioritizes quality, patient-focused care, and she conducts thorough physical exams to evaluate for both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. Outside of work, Sarah loves spending quality time with her family, traveling, and staying active through exercise.
